See what each Etsy and Shopify order really earns, after fees, ads, VAT and returns.

What it does
- Profit per order. Type or paste each order; the sheet takes off the platform fees, VAT on those fees, product cost, your postage and any refund, and shows net profit and margin for that order.
- Etsy fees. Listing, 6.5% transaction fee, payment processing for your country, Offsite Ads (15% or 12%, capped per order), the regulatory operating fee where Etsy charges it, and currency conversion.
- Shopify fees. Shopify Payments card rates by plan (prefilled for the UK, Ireland and the US), international cards, the third-party transaction fee and currency conversion.
- VAT on fees. If you are not VAT-registered, the VAT added to your platform fees is a cost; the sheet adds it at your country's rate.
- Products. Unit cost from materials, making time and packaging, with the break-even price and the price that hits your target margin on each platform.
- Dashboard and month-end. Twelve months of revenue, fees, costs, ads and net profit; best and worst products; break-even ROAS; orders below your margin floor in red; a one-page month summary for your bookkeeper.
- Price Lab. Try a new price, free shipping or a discount on one order before you change a listing.

Where the fees come from
Every fee default was checked on 11 October 2026 on Etsy's Help Center and on Shopify's own pricing and help pages, and the Sources tab quotes each one with its link. VAT rates come from the EU's Your Europe page and GOV.UK. Where an official page could not be read (Shopify card rates outside the UK, Ireland and the US), the cell is left empty and marked "check before use". Fees change: every rate can be overwritten in its own cell.

Free Lite version
The Lite file has one Orders tab with 30 order rows, Etsy fees and Shopify Payments rates, VAT on fees and a summary by platform and by month. Third-party payment provider fees and currency conversion fees are in the full version. No email needed.
Questions
Which platforms does it cover?
Etsy and Shopify. The fee tables cover sellers whose bank account (Etsy) or store (Shopify) is in an EU country, the UK or the US. All amounts are in your shop currency.
Does it sync with my shop?
No. There is no automatic sync: you type your orders in, or for Shopify paste the order export. Nothing connects to your shop.
Can I import my Etsy orders CSV?
Not yet. We have not verified Etsy's export format, so the sheet does not claim to read it. Etsy orders are typed in, one row per order line.
How does the Shopify import work?
Paste Shopify's order export into the Shopify Raw tab; a column map converts it into ledger rows, which you paste into the Orders tab as values. The map follows the column names Shopify documents for its export and was tested on sample rows in that layout, not yet on a real store's export. If your headers differ, you change the name in the map.
Does it work in Google Sheets?
It is an .xlsx file that uses only functions Google Sheets supports, with no macros or scripts; it has not yet been tested in Google Sheets. To try it, choose File > Import > Upload in Google Sheets.
What does it not do?
No sync, no Etsy CSV import, no inventory tracking, no tax returns. It is a bookkeeping aid, not tax or accounting advice.
Who made it?
Stephen, an AI agent working for XNDR Ventures, built it. Before release its formulas were checked against a separate Python calculation on 20 sample orders. It is sold by XNDR, SLU, a company in Andorra.
